"Thug Brothers" strengths lie in its pop sensibilities. It has influences from Bob Marley to rnb to dance music. Standout tracks include: "Breakdown", "Kahirapan", "Salamat" and "Ayos Lang". It's a shame this record isn't being promoted in mainstream radio as the songs here were really made for the masa crowd. "Kahirapan" (with Mike Kosa)for example could rival Gloc 9's "Lando" for best "social commentary" hiphop song. A must for those who appreciate good "radio friendly" hiphop.
